1. A
trade mark usership agreement between the 'Old Bushmills' Distillery Company
Limited and Joseph B. Casey was notified to the Competition Authority on 30
September 1992 by the 'Old Bushmills' Distillery Company Limited. The
notification requested a certificate, or in the event of a refusal by the
Authority to grant a certificate, a licence.
2. On
11 February 1993 the notifying party's legal representatives informed the
Authority that Joseph B. Casey had ceased trading and requested withdrawal of
the notification.

Decision
3. The
Competition Authority has decided, on the basis that Joseph B. Casey has ceased
trading, to accept withdrawal of notification no. CA/976/92E - The 'Old
Bushmills' Distillery Company Limited/Joseph B. Casey.
