The decision of the tribunal is that the claimant is entitled to compensation in the sum of £1,531.86 for redundancy pay and unpaid wages.

Reasons
2.1 Redundancy payment
The claimant's age at the date of dismissal was 55. She had five completed years of service. Her gross pay was £189.38 per week:-
71/2 x £189.38 = £1,420.35
The claimant is therefore entitled to a redundancy payment of £1,420.35.
2.2 Unpaid wages
The claimant did not received her pay for Week 39, her last working week. By agreement her hours had reduced that week due to the financial difficulties of the business. She is entitled to her net pay for that week which amounts to £111.51.
