DECISION
(A) The claimant’s wages claim is well-founded and it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £474 in respect of wages. (That sum includes £175 in respect of unpaid statutory sick pay).
(B) The claimant’s holiday pay claim is well-founded and it is ordered that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of £210 in respect of holiday pay.

REASONS
1. We announced our decision at the end of the hearing. At the same time, we gave brief oral reasons for that decision.
2. We were satisfied that the proper title of the respondent is “John Rooney” and the title of the proceedings was altered accordingly.
3. The respondent was not present at the time and date fixed for this main hearing. On the basis of the information available to us, we were not satisfied that there was good reason for his absence. For reasons which were explained at the beginning of the hearing, we decided to dispose of the proceedings in his absence.
4. This is a relevant decision for the purposes of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
