GREENWICH HOSPITAL ACT 1872 - LONG TITLE

An Act for making further provision respecting the application of
the Revenues of Greenwich Hospital.{1}
[10th August 1872]
Short title and construction.

GREENWICH HOSPITAL ACT 1872 - SECT 1

1. This Act may be cited as "The Greenwich Hospital Act, 1872";
and this Act and the Greenwich Hospital Acts, 1865 to 1870, shall
be read and have effect together as one Act....

GREENWICH HOSPITAL ACT 1872 - SECT 4
Education and maintenance of daughters of seamen and marines, &c.

4. The Admiralty may, under regulations to be from time to time
made by them, provide wholly or in part, for the education and
maintenance of daughters of warrant officers, non-commissioned
officers, and men, of the Royal Navy and Marines,....

GREENWICH HOSPITAL ACT 1872 - SECT 5
Education and maintenance of sons and daughters of deceased officers,
&c.

5. The Admiralty may, under regulations to be from time to time
made by them, provide, wholly or in part, for the education and
maintenance of sons and daughters of deceased or distressed
commissioned officers of the Royal Navy or Marines,....

GREENWICH HOSPITAL ACT 1872 - SECT 8
1865 c.89 s.20 to extend to pensions, &c. of any kind.

8. The provisions of section twenty of the Greenwich Hospital Act,
1865, as far as the same relate to salaries, shall extend to
pensions and pecuniary benefits of any kind.
