1.(1) If Her Majesty in Council is pleased to provide by royal charter for the foundation of the New University of Ulster, then on such day (in this Act referred to as "the appointed day") as the Minister of Education may, with the consent of the Trustees of Magee University College Londonderry (in this Act referred to as "the Trustees") and of the Council of the New University of Ulster (in this Act referred to as "the University"), by order appoint, the property of the Trustees set out in Part I of Schedule 1 shall by virtue of this subsection be transferred to the University. (2) The property transferred to the University by virtue of subsection (1) shall be held by the University, in accordance with the charter, for the purpose of maintaining in Londonderry, as an integral part of the University, an institution to be known as Magee University College, ... Ss.2, 3 spent Duties of Trustees.
