TELEGRAPH (ARBITRATION) ACT 1909 TELEGRAPH (ARBITRATION) ACT 1909 - LONG TITLE An Act to give further powers to the Railway and Canal Commission to determine differences with respect to Telegraphs (including Telephones). [20th October 1909] Determination of differences with reference to telegraphs. TELEGRAPH (ARBITRATION) ACT 1909 - SECT 1 1. Any difference between the [Post Office] and any body or person under the Telegraph Acts, 1863 to 1908, or under any licence or agreement relating to telegraphs (including telephones), shall, if the parties to such difference ... agree, to such reference, be referred to the Railway and Canal Commission, and that Commission shall determine the same. S.2 rep. by 1949 c.11 s.8 sch. TELEGRAPH (ARBITRATION) ACT 1909 - SECT 3 Saving. 3. Nothing in this Act shall restrict or prejudice the operation of any provision of the Telegraph Acts, 1863 to 1908, or of any other Act by which any difference is referred to the Railway and Canal Commission. TELEGRAPH (ARBITRATION) ACT 1909 - SECT 4 Short title. 4. This Act may be cited as the Telegraph (Arbitration) Act, 1909, and may be cited with the Telegraph Acts, 1863 to 1908.
