The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 37(1) of the Prisons (Scotland) Act 1989[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order: Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Discontinuance of Prisons (Scotland) Order 2000 and shall come into force as follows:-
(b) article 3 on 28th July 2000.
