The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Amendment (Scotland) Order 2005

  Made 1st March 2005 
  Coming into force 2nd March 2005 

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 7 and 23(f) and (g) of the Animal Health Act 1981[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation, commencement and extent
     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Amendment (Scotland) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 2nd March 2005.

    (2) This Order extends to Scotland only.

Amendment to the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978
    
2. The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978[2] is amended by substituting for Schedule 1 (approved disinfectants), the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.

Schedule to be substituted for Schedule 1 to the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978








EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order, which extends to Scotland only, amends the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 by substituting Schedule 1 to that Order (article 2). Schedule 1 provides an updated list of disinfectants approved by the Scottish Ministers. Schedule 1 is in identical terms to that substituted by the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Amendment (Scotland) Order 2004 except for corrections to the dilution rates for Action Iodophor Disinfectant, Biocid 15, Credence 200 and Fam 15. This Order is being issued free of charge to those persons who purchased the 2004 Order.
