TITLE CONDITIONS

The Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2006

  Made 7th March 2006 
  Laid before the Scottish Parliament 8th March 2006 
  Coming into force 31st March 2006 

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(4) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and being satisfied as to the matters mentioned in section 38(5) of that Act, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2006 and shall come into force on 31st March 2006.

Addition to the list of prescribed conservation bodies
     2. Part II of the Schedule to the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003[2] is amended by inserting before the entry "Alba Conservation Trust", "Aberdeen City Heritage Trust".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003 (S.S.I. 2003/453) by adding Aberdeen City Heritage Trust to the list of prescribed conservation bodies. Conservation bodies are bodies in favour of whom it is competent to create a conservation burden under section 38(1) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003.
