The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 43(1)(a) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005(1) and all other powers enabling Her Majesty to do so.
Accordingly, Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Authorities (Appointment of Chief Inspector) (Scotland) Order 2011 and comes into force on 10th February 2011.
2. Steven Cameron Torrie, QFSM is appointed as Chief Inspector of Fire and Rescue Authorities for the purposes of section 43(1)(a) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005.
3. The Fire and Rescue Authorities (Appointment of Chief Inspector) (Scotland) Order 2009(2) is revoked.
