APPEARANCES
For the Appellant NO APPEARANCE BY OR
ON BEHALF OF THE
APPELLANT
For the Respondents MR S MIAH
(SOLICITOR)
JUDGE BULL QC: The application for an adjournment made by letter on behalf of Mr Maynard, the Assistant Official Receiver, dated 1 November 1994, transmitted here by facsimile, is unanimously rejected. We therefore move on to give our judgment in this appeal.
This is an appeal from the Decision of the Industrial Tribunal sitting at Brighton on 20 July 1993, the Full Reasons of which were sent to the parties on 5 August 1993. It appears from correspondence from what Mr Miah, the solicitor acting on behalf of the Respondent, has told us, on 27 September of this year the winding-up order was made in respect of the Appellant company pursuant with the petition lodged with the Leeds District Registry of the High Court.
The Appellant company, not having appeared before us today either by Counsel, Solicitor or by any representative on its behalf, and upon the Respondent Solicitor, Mr Miah, having asked us to dismiss this appeal, we do so dismiss it.
