PRELIMINARY HEARING - EX PARTE
For the Appellant | NO APPEARANCE BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE APPELLANT |
MR JUSTICE KEENE: This is a preliminary hearing listed today so that the appellant could show cause why the matter should be allowed to proceed to a full hearing. It was due to take place not before 11.30 a.m. today; it is now gone 3.45 p.m. and at no time today has there been any appearance on behalf of the appellant.
We have looked at the merits of the matter. We can see no arguable point of law on the documents we have seen, but in any event, we propose to dismiss this appeal at this stage for want of prosecution.
