JUDGMENT
PRELIMINARY HEARING - EX PARTE
For the Appellant | THE APPELLANT NEITHER PRESENT NOR REPRESENTED |
JUDGE HICKS QC: This is an appeal by Mr Blow from the order by the tribunal that he pay £500 towards the respondents' costs, having withdrawn his application by fax on the morning of the hearing " because of costs already incurred", but having indicated that he might be pursuing a claim against the respondent employer by other means.
Today Mr Blow does not appear and there is a letter from his former representative stating that that representative no longer acts for Mr Blow, but confirming that Mr Blow has received copies of the information related to this hearing and of the date of today's hearing.
In those circumstances, there being no attendance or appearance by or on behalf of Mr Blow, we dismiss the appeal.
