    APPEARANCES

    For the Appellant THE APPELLANT
    IN PERSON

    HER HONOUR JUDGE A WAKEFIELD

  1. This is an ex parte Preliminary Hearing of an appeal against a decision of an Employment Tribunal sitting at London (North) on 21 & 22 June 2000 to determine whether there is a sufficient case to warrant a full hearing.
  2. In the Notice of Appeal the Appellant, Mr Keeling, has identified two points. Firstly that he was subjected to bad treatment by his employer in the first investigatory interview, a complaint which the Employment Tribunal did not believe and secondly that the letter suspending him was sent to the wrong address and not received by him. This was also a matter of evidence at the original hearing and which was not accepted by the Employment Tribunal.
  3. The Appellant has not suggested that the Employment Tribunal made any mistake of law in these or in any of its other findings. There is therefore no case to go forward to a full hearing and the Appeal must be dismissed at this stage.
