    LORD JOHNSTON:

  1. In this application the Appellant claims that he was unlawful dismissed from the Respondents as a member of the union.
  2. The matter arises in a very unusual way inasmuch that an order was made by the Employment Tribunal for a hearing back in May 2001 which hearing in fact has never taken place because it was discharged by consent. However, the Applicant has taken this appeal apparently upon the basis that he objected to the wording of the particular order, which included the words "Remedy if appropriate" and it appears he has some objection to the way that was framed.
  3. The fact of the matter is that there has been no hearing before the Employment Tribunal; there has been no order which raises any question of law and there is no question of law now before this Tribunal, which would enable us to determine any issue with regard to the future procedure.
  4. In these circumstances, without further ado, this appeal is wholly without merit and will be dismissed.
