Decision notes | [2019] UKFTT 106 (PC). Applicants had obtained a unilateral notice to protect a contract which the Respondent claimed have been validly terminated. A mediation did not take place because of Applicant’s ill health. Applicant delayed every step of the way. The day before the hearing an adjournment was asked for due to Applicant’s father's ill health. Shortly before the hearing an email was received stating that Applicant wanted an adjournment but if not he would withdraw his application. Adjournment refused. After hearing evidence from Respondent is Applicants' absence the application to cancel the unilateral notices was given effect to. |
