Camden Council (Decision Notice) [2009] UKICO FER0157856 (24 September 2009)

Summary: The complainant asked the Information Commissioner (-the Commissioner-) to consider whether the London Borough of Camden (-the Council-) had correctly refused to provide information relating to two properties in London. During the Commissioner-s investigation, the Council agreed to disclose a significant proportion of the information it had been withholding. The Commissioner investigated the Council-s decision to withhold the remaining information and was satisfied that some of the information was exempt under section 40(1), 40(2) and 42(1). However he decided that the remaining information had been incorrectly withheld in this case. The Council is required to disclose this information within 35 days. The Commissioner found breaches of section 10(1), 1(1)(b) and 17(1).
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 17 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 40 - Complaint Not upheld, FOI 42 - Complaint Partly Upheld
