Summary: The complainant made a request to Carmarthenshire County Council for information about a relative, which the Council failed to consider in accordance with the provisions of the Act. The Commissioner-™s decision is that, in failing to consider the request under the Act, the Council breached sections 10 and 17 of the Act. However, as the complainant has now received the information requested from a variety of sources, outside the provisions of the Act, the Commissioner has not ordered the Council to take any steps.
