The complainant has requested copies of correspondence between Anna Turley and a number of Gambling Commission staff between 1 January 2020 and 3 July 2024. The Gambling Commission (-˜the GC') would neither confirm nor deny holding the requested information, citing section 40(5B) of FOIA (personal information) as its basis for doing so. The Commissioner's decision is that section 40(5B) of FOIA is engaged and that the GC was entitled to neither confirm nor deny whether it holds the requested information. The Commissioner does not require further steps.
