The complainant has requested information regarding an Information Governance Improvement Plan from the London Borough of Haringey (LBH). The Commissioner's decision is that LBH was not entitled to rely on section 36(2)(c) (prejudice to the effective conduct of public affairs) to refuse the requested information. The Commissioner therefore requires LBH to disclose the requested information, i.e. the Information Governance Improvement Plan. To the extent that LBH wishes to withhold any personal data, it should issue a refusal notice explaining this and citing the relevant exemption. The public authority must take these steps within 30 calendar days of the date of this decision notice. Failure to comply may result in the Commissioner making written certification of this fact to the High Court pursuant to section 54 of the Act and may be dealt with as a contempt of court.
