The complainant has requested information about the installation of broadband to a specific location. The Welsh Government stated it did not hold information relating to some parts of the request, explained that other information was publicly available, and therefore exempt under section 21 (information available to the applicant by other means) of the FOIA, and withheld some information under section 43 (commercial interests) of the FOIA. The Commissioner's decision is that the Welsh Government was entitled to rely on section 43(2) of FOIA to withhold the information requested. He does not require any steps to be taken.
