The complainant requested information regarding the statutory authority for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to acquire, hold and dispose of land. The Government Legal Department (GLD) denied holding the requested information. The Commissioner's decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, the GLD does not hold the requested information and has complied with section 1(1)(a) of FOIA.
