The complainant has requested information about workstream prioritisation between 2021-2023. The Home Office refused the request, citing section 12(1) (Cost of compliance exceeds appropriate limit) of FOIA. The Commissioner's decision is that the Home Office was entitled to rely on section 12(1) of FOIA to refuse the request. However, it failed to respond to the request within 20 working days, which was a breach of sections 1(1) and 10(1) of FOIA.
