The complainant requested a copy of the service records of their late father. The National Archives (TNA) provided a redacted copy of the records, withholding some information under section 41 of FOIA (information provided in confidence). The Commissioner's decision is that section 41 is engaged, and that TNA is entitled to refuse to disclose the withheld information. The Commissioner does not require further steps.
