Summary
The invention related to identifying potentially unsafe devices or devices otherwise subject to a product recall when such devices are registered to a network via a router by identifying the device type and maintaining a table of unsafe devices at the router, the table updated based on an update table in a backend system. The hearing officer found that the invention related to a program for a computer as such and a method of doing business as such. He therefore refused the application.
