Summary

The application relates to a renewable energy system with rotating branches on which are mounted small wind turbines, a radar and a camera. On one construction of the claims the Hearing Officer found the independent claim to lack novelty over the prior art. On an alternate construction he concluded it to either be a collocation of know integers (following SABAF) or to lack an inventive step (after applying the Windsurfing/Pozzoli test). The application was thus refused under section 18(3).
