RA v First-tier Tribunal and Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (JR) (Criminal injuries compensation) [2020] UKUT 31 (AAC) (29 January 2020)


Paragraph 13 of the 2008 Scheme creates a discretion. Where paragraph 13 applies, the First-tier Tribunal must exercise it, including considering a ball-park figure for quantum where it may be relevant to the exercise of discretion, and must show how it has exercised it.
