DL v Disclosure and Barring Service [2024] UKUT 247 (AAC) (12 August 2024)


Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups- mistake in a finding of fact on which decision to bar was based. Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) had found that care worker had borrowed money from a service user and asked to borrow more. Held: DBS had made mistake in finding of fact, appeal allowed- DBS directed to remove appellant from barred list.
