The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 1 and 6(1) and (2) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973, with the concurrence of the Treasury, section 15(1) and (2) of the Ordnance Factories and Military Services Act 1984, with the consent of the Treasury, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order, a draft of which has been laid before the House of Commons and has been approved by a resolution of that House in accordance with section 6(2) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973 and section 15(2) of the Ordnance Factories and Military Services Act 1984:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Royal Ordnance Factories Trading Fund (Revocation and Repeal) Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 31st May 1985.
2. The Royal Ordnance Factories Trading Fund Order 1974 is hereby revoked.
3. Section 1(3)(a) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973 is hereby repealed.

This Order revokes the Royal Ordnance Factories Trading Fund Order 1974, which established the Royal Ordnance Factories Trading Fund, and repeals the reference to the Royal Ordnance Factories as a Crown service in the Government Trading Funds Act 1973, following the transfer of the property, rights and liabilities of the Trading Fund to a company under the provisions of the Ordnance Factories and Military Services Act 1984.
