The A62 (Gelderd Road, Gildersome Interchange) (Trunking) Order 1989

Coming into force

1st April 1989

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980(1), and now vested in him(2), and of all other enabling powers:

1. The length of road described in the schedule to this Order and shown by striped hatching on the deposited plan shall become a trunk road as from the date on which this Order comes into force.

2. In this Order -�

"the deposited plan"means the plan numbered HA10/YHRO 21 marked "The A62 (Gelderd Road Gildersome Interchange) (Trunking) Order 1989" signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;

3. This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1989 and may be cited as the A62 (Gelderd Road, Gildersome Interchange) (Trunking) Order 1989.

SCHEDULELENGTH OF ROAD TO BECOME A TRUNK ROAD

The length of road to become a trunk road is the highway known as the A62 Gelderd Road, from and including its junction and roundabout with the A650 (Bradford Road and Wakefield Road) (marked "A" on the deposited plan) to and including its junction roundabout with the M621 and M62 Motorway exit and entry slip roads (marked "B" on the deposited plan) (a distance, measured along that length, of 660 metres).
