The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(1) ("the 1984 Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to section 7(6) of the 1984 Act, hereby makes the following Order-
1. This order may be cited as the A20 Trunk Road (Sidcup Road, Greenwich) (Prohibition of Use of Gap in Central Reservation) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 20th August 1990.
2. In this Order-
"central reservation" means that part of Sidcup Road which separates the two carriageways of Sidcup Road for the safety and guidance of vehicles using that road; and
"Sidcup Road" means that length of the London-Folkestone-Dover Trunk Road (A20) in the London Borough of Greenwich known as Sidcup Road.
3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed through the gap in the central reservation which lies opposite Mervyn Avenue.
