The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 195(2) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (Commencement No. 14) Order 1992.
2. The following provisions of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 shall come into force on 8th May 1992-
section 19 in so far as it is not already in force,
section 194(1) in so far as it relates to paragraph 30 of Schedule 11.

This Order brings into force on 8th May 1992 the following provisions of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989-
section 19, in so far as it is not already in force (members of local authorities to comply with requirements in regulations for giving notices of their pecuniary interests);
section 194(1) in so far as it amends paragraph 41 of Schedule 12 to the Local Government Act 1972 (c. 70) (recording the minutes of local authorities).
