The Transfer of Crofting Estates (Scotland) Act 1997 Commencement Order 1997

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 8(2) of the Transfer of Crofting Estates (Scotland) Act 1997(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1. The Transfer of Crofting Estates (Scotland) Act 1997 shall come into force on 6th June 1997.
