SPORTS GROUNDS AND SPORTING EVENTS, ENGLAND AND WALES

The Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order 2002

  Made 22nd August 2002 

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 3(2) of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002[1], the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order 2002.

     2. Section 1 of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 shall come into force on 28th August 2002.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order brings section 1 of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 into force on 28th August 2002. The remainder of the Act came into force on Royal Assent.
