HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A50 Trunk Road (Queensway Roundabout to Heron Cross Roundabout) Order 2004

  Made 8th November 2004 
  Coming into force 22nd November 2004 

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

     1. This Order may be cited as The A50 Trunk Road (Queensway Roundabout to Heron Cross Roundabout) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 22 November 2004.

    
2. In this Order - 

    (1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;

    (2)

     3. The new road and the slip roads shall become trunk roads from the date when this Order comes into force.

    
4. The centre line of each of the new trunk roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan.

SCHEDULE 1
Article 2(2)(i)

New road to be constructed:

A new road, 175 metres in length, starting 215 metres north of the centre of the existing roundabout within the Trentham Lakes site (Reference Point shown on the plan) and ending 40 metres north of that point (the new road being given the reference letter C on the plan).
