Commencement
3.
The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1st October 2005—
Transitional Provisions
4.
The coming into force of the provisions mentioned in article 3 is subject to the transitional provisions in articles 5 to 7.
5.
The amendments made to Schedule A1 to the 1992 Act by sections 9, 10 and 13 of the Act and by paragraphs 23(22) and 23(23) of Schedule 1 to the Act do not apply where the Central Arbitration Committee has informed the parties, in accordance with paragraph 25(9) or 117(11) of Schedule A1 to the 1992 Act, before 1st October 2005.
6.
The amendments made to section 226A of the 1992 Act by section 22 of the Act do not apply where a trade union takes the steps referred to in the section in relation to the notice mentioned in subsection (1)(a) of section 226A of the 1992 Act before 1st October 2005.
7.
The amendments made to section 234A of the 1992 Act by section 25 of the Act do not apply where a trade union takes the steps referred to in the section in relation to the notice mentioned in subsection (1) of section 234A of the 1992 Act before 1st October 2005.
