ROAD TRAFFIC

The A404 Trunk Road (Handy Cross Junction Improvement) (Derestriction) Order 2007

  Made 24th May 2007 
  Coming into force 9th June 2007 

The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 82(2) and 83(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984[1], having consulted with such representative organisations as he thought fit, makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the A404 Trunk Road (Handy Cross Junction Improvement) (Derestriction) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 9th June 2007.

    
2. The lengths of the Trunk Road specified in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be restricted roads for the purposes of section 81 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

THE SCHEDULE
The length of the Trunk Road in the District of Wycombe in the County of Buckinghamshire to be a derestricted Road is:

    — From the roundabout at the junction of the Trunk Road with the M40 Motorway to a point approximately 340 metres south of the roundabout, in both directions.

    — The roundabout at the junction of the Trunk Road with the M40 Motorway and the link road across the roundabout.
