HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A629 Trunk Road (Snaygill Roundabout to County Boundary) (Detrunking) Order 2007

  Made 12 July 2007 
  Coming into force 1st October 2007 

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2]:—

     1. This Order may be cited as The A629 Trunk Road (Snaygill Roundabout to County Boundary) (Detrunking) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st October 2007.

     2. In this Order—

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the North Yorkshire County Council (who will become the highway authority responsible for that length) that the Order has come into force.

SCHEDULE

LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD


The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is shown by broad black dashes on the plan and is situated between Snaygill Roundabout (marked ‘A' on the plan) and the County Boundary (marked ‘B' on the plan) and measures approximately 5.2 km in length.
