The Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) (England) Order 2007

  Made 27th August 2007 

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 107 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006[1]:

Citation and application
     1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) (England) Order 2007.

    (2) This Order applies in relation to England only.

Commencement of section 72 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006
     2. Section 72 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 comes into force on 1st October 2007.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order, which applies in relation to England only, brings section 72 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 (c. 16) into force on 1st October 2007. This section amends the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (c. 27) by inserting sections 22BB and 22BC which make provision for traffic regulation on byways etc and other unsurfaced roads in National Parks.
