Provisions coming into force on 30th October 2007

The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 30th October 2007—
Appointed day for purposes of section 59(6) of the Act
3.
30th October 2007 is the day appointed for the purposes of section 59(6) of the Act (which provides that sections 12 to 14 have effect in relation to financial years beginning on or after an appointed day).

Article 3 of this Order appoints 30th October 2007 for the purposes of section 59(6) of the Act, which provides that sections 12 to 14 of the Act have effect in relation to financial years beginning on or after an appointed day.
Section 12 provides for separate component budgets for the Assembly and the Mayor. Section 13 concerns the procedure for determining the Authority's consolidated budget requirement and section 14 relates to substitute calculations.
