HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A20 Trunk Road (Dover Eastern Docks Exit Road) Slip Road Order 2007

  Made 7th November 2007 
  Coming into force 3rd December 2007 

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2]:

     1. This Order may be cited as the A20 Trunk Road (Dover Eastern Docks Exit Road) Slip Road Order 2007 and shall come into force on 3rd Decemer 2007.

    
2. In this Order–

     3. The new slip road shall become trunk road from the date when this Order comes into force.

    
4. The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan.

    
5. The Secretary of State directs as respects any part of a highway which crosses the route of the new trunk road that–

until, in either case, a date to be specified in a notice given by the Secretary of State to the highway authority for that highway. The date specified will not be later than the date on which the relevant route is opened for traffic.

SCHEDULE

ROUTE OF THE SLIP ROAD


The route of the slip road is a route which the Secretary of State proposes to construct from the western boundary of Dover Eastern Docks to the westbound carriageway of A20 Trunk Road.
