EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (Orkney) (No. 3) (Scotland) Order 1999 ("the principal Order") which prohibited-
(a) fishing for or taking scallops within the area designated in the Schedule to that Order (article 4);
(b) movement of such scallops out of that area (article 5); and
(c) landing, using in the preparation of processing for supply of food of, supplying and other specified activities in relation to, such scallops from the designated area (article 6).
The effect of this Order is to remove the remaining prohibitions in respect of the area of sea designated in the Schedule to the principal Order.
