EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Motor Cycles Etc. (EC Type Approval) Regulations 1999.

They extend the meaning of the expression "separate Directive" by inserting a reference to Directive 2000/7/EC as a new item in the Table in Schedule 1 to the 1999 Regulations.

In line with the 1999 Regulations, the Directive is marked with a dagger to denote that it is a Directive of the European Parliament and the Council.

A copy of the EC Directive in question can be obtained from the Stationery Office.
